We depart from our helipad on our adventure through the rugged heartland of the World Heritage Listed Park.
We complete the first half of the Cradle Mountain and Fury Gorge Adventure flight but venture on down past the Craggy Peaks of the Central Highlands. It is here that we catch sight of Mount Ossa (Tasmania’s highest mountain), Mount Eldon and The Du Cane Range. The peaks and views are endless as we continue on to Lake St Clair. From the comfort of your seat, our pilot will guide you through this trip into the wild and past the inky black of the deepest lake in the Southern Hemisphere. At Lake St Clair we continue onto the Walls of Jerusalem National Park and the “Land of 1000 Lakes”. This is truly an adventure and a breathtaking trip. The “Land of 1000 Lakes” is a sight that cannot be described but rather seen and experienced. As we meander our way north we return past the iconic Dove Lake and back safely to the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre.
